कस्तूरीहरिणाक्रान्तकर्पूरकदलीतलैः।
मनोभवमहादुर्गैर्महिता केलिपर्वतैः॥
- कस्तूरी-हरिणा-क्रान्त-कर्पूर-कदली-तलैः = by musk-deer-frequented-karpura-plaintain-shades = by those frequented by musk deer under the shade of the plantains and karpura plants
- मनोभव-महा-दुर्गैः = by kamadeva-veritable-"hiding spots" = by those that looked like the veritable hiding places of the God of Love
- महिता = worshipped/honoured
- केलि-पर्वतैः = by the pleasure-hilocks
(The city of Vijayanagara,) Honoured by the pleasure-hillocks in the city were frequented by the musk deer that sought the shade of the plantains and the karpura plants in them and by these hillocks looked like the veritable hiding places of the God of Love
